Inspiration Lost

5.29.2012

It's funny how blogging all day long sure can take the life blog out of you. I spend most of my days now blogging for Atlanta Real Estate Forum, Atlanta's largest real estate blog. I use the phrases "master on main," "gourmet kitchen" and "spacious master retreat" like they were going out of style. So at the end of the day when I come home, the last thing I want to do is write another blog. But at the same time, that's the first thing I want to do, I'm just not as inspired anymore or maybe just don't have the same unlimited time. Either way, I make excuses for myself even though I know I shouldn't. So, I'm reaching out to you, my long lost blogging community.

How do you stay inspired?

I want to know, maybe your words will inspire us all.

I can definitely relate to that. I am trying to start a blog community for veterans, but it seems like the more I tell myself I need to write...the less inspiration and drive to blog that I have.

Writing about cool stuff and new things every day is inspiring! I love what I do, so it is not work - try taking a new spin and outlook on your daily posts. Think about all the positive impact you have with each post, and then try to position each day's posts into something that will encourage and engage your readers. With the goal of increasing comments, likes and retweets, you compete with yourself every day!

And if that doesn't work, bite off a little at a time by making small achievable goals so that you are constantly completing and succeeding. the power of success is awesome motivation!
